Join Alex this Summer for five days in Montana for an in-person workshop focused on bringing your photography, brand, and business to the next level.
Alex will dive deep in his mindset to level-up your photography business. You’ll have the chance to sit down for a one-on-one mentorship session with Alex, to pick his brain and get answers to those burning questions.
You’ll join Alex on location at two of his favorite spots to photograph in. With Alex by your side, you’ll have the opportunity to take what you’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to the real world.
This workshop is focused on the business of photography, but will also include opportunities to get out in the field and shoot, as well as have your work critiqued by Alex. Free time most evenings and early mornings will allow you to get out and explore everything Montana has to offer!
Alex chooses to base his home, and his business in Whitefish, Montana for a reason. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers, and wildlife, it provides the perfect backdrop for his photographic pursuits. Each season brings a fresh new perspective, and constant inspiration. It only makes sense that the workshop would take place right here in the Big Sky State.
The workshop will take place over the course of four full days, from August 15th to August 19th, with working hours focused around the midday. You will have plenty of time to head out and capture Montana in all its Summer glory with free time occurring in the early mornings and the soft light of the evening. See the detailed itinerary below for more info.

There are various ways to join us in Montana. The nearest airport to fly into is Kalispell (FCA) which is a short 20 minute drive to Whitefish. Other airports nearby are Missoula (MSO) which is 2 hours by car, and Calgary (YYC) which is 5 hours by car (crosses an international border).
If possible, we highly recommend you have a car while here. The sights and scenery are spread far and wide over this corner of the state, and the ability to drive to different locations would surely enhance the experience. Alex is a huge fan of road trips, so why not plan an epic summer trip around the workshop?
