Lost Valley (Where The National Park Isn’t)

Documenting adventure photographers Alex Strohl's and Isaac Johnston's joint quest for solitude. Frustrated with the exponential surge in crowds in their backyard of Glacier National Park after the pandemic, the two friends looked elsewhere with simple logic: If there are more than 500 million acres of public land within the U.S, why are we all stuck in the same 100 thousand acres? And so the pair ventured off, on foot, in the opposite direction of the iconic park, with little beta and no plans except to get away. This collection, replete with intimate notes and film photographs, will make you want to pack your bags and run for the hills beyond the map. More at adventurebuddies.xyz
