PATAGONIA · MAY 3–8 · LIMITED SPOTS
The Patagonia Expedition
A 5-day journey to turn you from a landscape photographer into an expedition-grade storyteller.
THE PROBLEM
Your portfolio looks like every other adventure photographer's.
A disjointed collection of wonderful places with a handful of portraits mixed in. Smart brand managers see a tourist with expensive glass, not a storyteller.
What brands desperately need is someone who can move audiences. You can't do that with just "nice photos."
What you need is a body of work that says:
My vision is unique
I can tell a story with my camera
I can make impressive photos in most conditions
Your portfolio is missing tension, movement, and a few "impossible shots".
WHAT YOU GET
We didn't just build a trip — we built an unfair advantage.
The 5-Day Tactical Expedition
All-access Land Cruiser transport, luxury remote lodging, and 1:1 field coaching with Alex Strohl.
The Big Glass
Instead of spending $12k on a telephoto, we provide the flagship 600mm wildlife glass for every attendee.
Mastermind on Wheels
Every truck has radio comms. While we track, we talk shot, pricing, pitching… the 'Business of Adventure Photography' backroad edition.
The Portrait and Behind the Scenes Pack
Leave with powerful action shots of yourself in motion, along with beautifully crafted portraits.
Strohl Approved Certification
Walk away with 2 'Mastered' prints — personally vetted, proofed, and critiqued for gallery-grade quality.
5 Days With Alex Strohl
From sunrise to last light, Alex is in the field with you. Ask anything, shoot alongside him, and absorb five full days of hands-on creative mentorship.
From Alex's Journal — Day 28
"Today, I got treated to such unreal conditions that I didn't even feel like editing the photos. It was an almost cliché landscape photography day with the most ideal conditions… Seeing the Torres light up at sunrise and the lenticular clouds hover above me like space ships all day are not things I'll forget soon."
— Alex Strohl, Patagonia No Edit
THE MISSION
We're going on an expedition
We've secured a fleet of 70 Series Land Cruisers and the best trackers down south to put you face to face with the apex predator of the Andes. This is a 5-day, high-focus immersion.
The Live Brief
Execute a real commercial assignment
You have thousands of beautiful images. But when you pitch a $50k contract, brands don't just ask "Can you take a nice photo?" They ask "Can you execute a brief under pressure?"
Most photographers never get the chance to practice a real commercial assignment until their reputation is already on the line.
A 5-Day Live Production
We have partnered with a major outdoor brand to give you a real-world commercial assignment. When we head out in the field, you're not just "taking pictures". You are executing a professional creative brief.
You will work under Alex Strohl's creative direction to deliver a specific set of assets. You'll learn how to:
- Manage a shot list under real field conditions
- Handle client expectations on the ground
- Deliver "Hero" assets that meet global brand standards
The Outcome
On top of leaving with photos of the elusive Puma, you leave with a case study.
You leave with the ability to say: "I executed the 2026 Fall Campaign brief in the wilds of Patagonia." That sentence alone is worth the price of the trip.
The math speaks for itself.
